Prada in a surprising move is offering a Bluetooth watch with its new LG Prada II Mobile Phone. The new Prada LG-KF900 smartphone has a slide-out keyboard that makes it ideal for messaging. The Prada Link Bluetooth watch is displaying SMS directly on your wrist as the Fossil Bluetooth watches did in 2006. LG actually showed a full Watch Phone at the CES 2008. So they have their own know-how for high-tech watches. Will be interesting if LG shows again a Mobile Phone Watch at the CES 2009. Fossil partnered with Sony Ericsson for their Bluetooth watches.
The LG Prada Link Bluetooth watch measures 32.5x38.7x11mm (case only) and weighs 51g. Features of the Prada Link include Caller ID, Call history, SMS full text display, Alarm, world time, stop watch, 48h standby, 2.5h charging time, white mono OLED Display with 120x56px, vibration and sound alert and leather band.
